The Yilan specialty, Cherry Valley duck, is enticing; it must be seared over low heat for more than 20 minutes to bring out the taste. The meal is topped off with teppanyaki fried rice that is cooked with fish stock to enhance the flavor. The chef skillfully makes sure the rice grains don’t stick together; each grain is flavorful and with a little rice crust, bringing delight to the taste buds of the customer.
